It all began the night before the wedding. Actually. Let’s be honest. The amazingness began long before this past December’s rendezvous in Ireland for The Giant Wedding. It all began the day Joe Giant appeared before Kristin Abbott’s class to speak about the business of music. The rest of this? The rest of this beautiful, laughter filled time on the Dingle Peninsula? The rest of this is just icing on the cake, just a heart warming testimony to two people falling in love, creating music, moving to the frozen North, writing letters by hand, and adventuring with their favorites.
Kristin and Joe, to borrow from the Irish, “may your mornings bring joy and your evenings bring peace. May your troubles grow few as your blessings increase. May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the happiest day of your past. May your hands be forever clasped in friendship and your hearts joined forever in love.”
Katie, thank you (more than words can express) for letting me be your sidekick for a wedding I still think about weekly. Oh, and thank you for sharing your friends.
(for a wee glimpse of the rest of our Irish Adventures, which do not surpass this wedding in any way, you can head over here and maybe here, too.)

Holy Smokes those are good pictures!! I love the one of you and Joe walking down the street where the mom and her daughter see you! Darling!! I also liked seeing more of the crowd shots. So stunning.
These are the most gorgeous wedding photos I’ve ever seen. Kudos to the photographers – and of course the beautiful families! Love and hugs to all!
Ashleigh, these are absolutely beautiful! I don’t know how I am just now seeing these!
