I am a reader. I am a lover of art. I am an appreciator of new sights.
Because of this, when I lift the camera, I hope to articulate ideas from some of my favorites—Annie Dillard, Kiefer, McCarthy, Kierkegaard, Nouwen, Goldsworthy, Hemingway, Appel, Twombly, Pasternak– who poignantly express beauty in the ordinary, a sense of mystery and wonder, the fleetingness yet grace in life. I also seek to express something I’ve learned from traveling—people, and places, are distinctive and fascinating, each with their own history and interests and perspective on life.
Thus, my goal, as a natural light photographer is to capture the unique threads of your life, to work with you to create something beautiful, whether you are planning a wedding, preparing for a bambino, or just because.
