Growing up we were Orioles fans, since DC didn’t have their own baseball team at the time. For my ninth birthday, my father took me to a O’s game in the old Camden Yards. I’ll never forget the thrill of the game, the smell, the sounds, almost catching a foul ball but being thwarted by an adult a few seats down. All this to say, I have fond memories of Baltimore.
So. I loved adding new memories to my Baltimore memory file a few weeks ago–scavenging for books, drinking coffee curled up on a sofa while talking late into the night, paying homage to Edgar Allen Poe, enjoying a picnic lunch on Federal Hill overlooking the Inner Harbor, wandering through the Baltimore Museum of Art, driving past amazing graffiti.
Here is a glimpse into two days of scrumptious, delicious food and fun adventures with the H family in Baltimore!
You are an INCREDIBLE photographer! I love all of these photos, especially since it is of my HOME now. Just moved to Baltimore a few months ago, and am learning to adjust to it and loving it. I was just on Fed Hill today. You inspired me to take my camera up there and just have fun with it some time. Beautiful work. Found you through Kristi 😀
